Playlist Editor for show preparation and voice tracking

Prepare a show when you have time. Broadcast it when it is scheduled.

Playlist Editor lets you prepare a show separately from the current broadcast queue. Arrange songs, jingles and recorded presenter links in one list, check their order and duration, then save or schedule the programme. AURA helps compose scripts, and the presenter can record links and prepare transitions in advance. This gives the show personality even when it is not performed live.

SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES

What you can do.

01

Preparation without a rush

Open an existing playlist or build a new one from the Library, folders and suggestions. Reorder and remove items to shape the show before it reaches the broadcast queue.

02

Estimated programme timing

Known durations are added across the list, and a start time provides estimated song times. Vocal start and end information helps prepare presenter links and transitions.

03

Recorded presenter links

Add speech with a bed, over a song's ending, over the next song's intro or between two songs. The editor uses prepared vocal cues and configured inputs for the relevant recording type.

04

AURA script assistance

When preparing a link, select the previous and next song, a programme trail or available information. Review, shorten and adapt the resulting script to your delivery before recording.

05

Saving and scheduling

Save the prepared programme as M3U, then add a scheduled slot by choosing a date and time separately. Keep different versions of a show under your own names and paths.

06

A playlist linked to requests

When the relevant integration is enabled, link a saved playlist to a web reservation. Daily Plan can then show playlist readiness and progress based on the logged starts of its items.
